Project: Erosion Control Angel Fire Tributary to Cieneguilla Watershed

Before the Project

The flow in an unnamed tributary to Cieneguilla Creek in Angel Fire during most of the year is less than 0.2 cfs. But during spring snow runoff and after thunderstorms the flow increases dramatically resulting in sloughing of the stream banks. The banks desperately needed to be stabilized and erosion needed to be stopped.
